When I create a mailtoConfusedomebody@someplace.com the icon and email program that is used is Outlook. Outlook is not my default program and anywhere else when I click on a similar mailto: it takes me to my default email app (Netscape mail).

Is this hard coded in the toolbar app? or is there a workaround?
