I did notice this before, but I've never made a bugreport until now.
When deleting a message in mailmon (1.9.9), the window isn't (correctly) updated, which makes the most lower message hide almost completely. See the attached image. Every screenupdate afterwards, ie by moving windows, makes the message show again.
