First we looked at the settings before we changed them. The Metrics>Button margins were set at Width 0, Height 0 and Menu item height 0. We changed to your suggestions but the margins between the plugins did not change. Only the margins between the folder icons. We even tried Width 10 and Height 10 but only the folder icon margin changed.

OK, I tried to replicate this here (I have seen it on numerous occasions). I've just placed the toolbar with my monitor plugins on every edge of every screen, and I can't get it to happen here, now! Grrrr! Sad

I've pointed Yuri to this thread. Let's hope he can find the problem easily!

The other reason they wont all fit flush together is because I've been a busy boy today, and have updated all the code and graphics (See the TLB in my signature).

These will be zipped and despatched within the next few hours... Smile

Try this version of Weather Monitor. This must fix problem with margins. This version take size exactly from background.

Download

To install close TLB log off/log on replace dll and open TLB.

Hello Yuri
It seems the earlier margin setting worked like it was supposed to - it did change the distances between the buttons but not the distances between the plug-ins.

The new dll has not changed anything here. We can not notice any difference. We can still change the Height and Width of the margins between the buttons but we still cannot change the spaces between the plug-ins.

Space between plugins controlled by plugin. If you need space just make background some larger with transparent margin.

Actually we wish to have less space between the plug-ins. Thank you anyway and thank you for the new version of True Launch Bar.

Yuri, I too have installed this plugin. It has the unfortunate effect of making all the Weather Monitor plugins misalign now!

I've tried to take out the blank space above some of the plugins that I used to make them line up, but to no avail!

I experimented and moved the TLB containg the plugins around to all sides of both monitors. Still no luck Sad

Just for entirety's sake here is a screenshot of TLB 2.2.0.14 RC1 and the very latest WM dll.

We wish the space between the plug-ins was non-existent so they would match-up flush with each other so there would be no little grey line between the plug-ins.

I've removed space between weather monitors but others will comes soon. Try to play with icon size. It must be less then skins height.

A curiosity -
In the previous screenshots we were using the default skin and now we have just switched to a custom skin. What did we find? The plug-ins line up. We are still experimenting with sizes to get them closer together.

Errr, I'd stop there if I was you!

I just opened the image up in Photoshop and zoomed in. There is NO gap there, that's the skins design (bevelled edges).

My screenshots show my current build (pretty much), and aren't necessarily what you have. If you have the time, we can set them up now!

We have tweaked the sizes of the bg.png files and changed the colour of the beveled edges and now have this!

Just thought I'd give you a status report.

Mail Monitor
LED flashes when you have email. Available in Red, Green, Yellow, Orange & Purple. Transparent background so fits most colour schemes.

Looks like this when off.

TLB Clock
Nothing unusual here! Just a clock...

Net Monitor
Four data slots, i/o indicators & history.

Wind
Wind meter using the Weather Monitor plugin. As you can see, there is a wind gust display I'm planning on adding in!

Weather Ultra
Has three more data slots than DK Weather for Windchill, Visibility & Temperature. Wider size now allows longer descriptions (I regularly get "Showers in the Vicinity")!!!

Sun
Sun only module using the Weather Monitor plugin. I'm going to do an equivelant for moon data.

Moon
Moon data using the Weather Monitor plugin! This version is experimental, but shows the moons phase graphically, textually and also gives it's declination!

TLB Version
Another skin using the flexibility of the Weather Monitor! Simply shows the latest and beta versions of TLB.

Other stuff in the works includes a barometer but I haven't even begun to think on that one, yet!
