Hello, I am a new user to TLB so if this question has been asked before please forgive me Smile

But is there a way of changing the weather provider from Weather Underground to say the Weather Channel UK or the BBC?

Thanks,

Tony.

You're welcome!

[EDIT]
A word of explanation...

The "Conditions" parameter contains the number of the icon being displayed so I can show day & night icons (My toolbar in my signature shows this! This is also why "Weather" contains the conditions text.

I have a couple of complete icon sets if you need them!

Because the "Conditions" parameter is used in the provider file to grab the name of the graphic being displayed for the current weather conditions. Fortunately my weather provider shows different icons for day & night (even though the description of the current conditions is the same for day & night). I've simply mapped a different icon for each of my weather providers icons and voila, it works!

This is NOT my idea as mark76uk made some posts regarding this last February. You should read this thread for additional information.

Yes please if you don't mind.

What other weather providers do you use BTW?

Thanks,
Tony.

Here's the icons (attached!).

I have a couple of VERY local sources that I use day to day, but for my region I've found www.wunderground.com is good for wind and sun data and weather (with day/night pictures) from uk.weather.com. If you're UK based, they'll provide you with all you need. If you manage to find a more local source, let me have the URL and I'll write you a custom provider file. Smile
