plugins skin

is it possible to get the uptime plugin to look like this:
i am guessing the days, hours, minutes would have to be part of the bg.png

It sure is! It's not advanced as Weather Monitor, but you can find out more details here!

Easiest way to skin is to download other peoples work, play around with it, and when you're comfortable with how it all fits together, copy the folder and make the changes you need to!

i have got the dev pack, but i need an editor, is ther any ones out there?

For editing, Notepad is a suitable editor.

However, for a little more power, try EditPad Classic or for a $30, there's EditPlus.
