I used the new "Backup/Restore Toolbar" feature in TLB 2.2.0.15 RC2. Feeling confident in TLB and, apparently, thoughtless, I did a backup and restore without first doing one manually. After the first restore, I got a nasty surprise.
Most of my settings had been lost. Some folders were restored, others were not. All main TLB settings had reverted to the default. I have no idea why this happened, because the restore processes seemed to go fine. I was upset to the point of considering to uninstall TLB when...
Fortunately, I tried a second restore, using the same backup file, and that time it worked. I have no idea why it worked the second time and not the first, but nothing on my system had changed.
Just a sort of "heads up" for anyone exploring this new feature. I'd submit a bug report, but the term "black hole" comes to mind when I consider doing so.
