Yes, I have tested the Gmail option and yes it now works exactly like other accounts. Big Grin

My very big thanks to Mr. Kobets for this wonderful upgrade.

Nice to see Mail Monitor being developped again.
Thanks Yuri. Smile

One question before I install the beta: will I lose my filter settings, mail accounts settings (or other settings in general)?

Thank you for the reply, Yuri.

Could you let us know what settings are saved/transferable?

ALL settings. Accounts, filters etc. You don't lost anything.

Anyway you can backup mail monitor. Drag MM button into any folder.

I do not have a GMail account so I couldn't test if it's working properly.
However, everything else seem to be working fine. Smile

I quite like the look of the new icons, and specially the main "Properties" window. Very nice. 8)

The unresizable reply window is still bugging me though. Sad

Overal, a job well done, Yuri. Big Grin

Could you let us know which of the numerous features requested will be implemented in the next beta release?

In the next version I plan to add IMAP support, maybe RSS and atom.
Requested features from this topic.

Also I plan to redesign the interface of filters and then this will be v2.0 Wink

I have been testing the new beta version of Mail Monitor on different systems. In general it works very well.

There are some very minor anomalies.

- If Mail Monitor cannot connect to a mail account for some reason then Mail Monitor will not allow the user to open the properties of Mail Monitor. For example yesterday one of my mail servers was down and Mail Monitor could not read my mail box. Two other of my mail accounts on another server were ok but I could not open Mail Monitor properties at all until the other server came back. Maybe you think why did I need to access Mail Monitor properties. Well I wanted to TURN OFF filtering because I was expecting a email from a commercial source that I did nor want Mail Monitor to delete. Such small things can be important and for a new user worrying.

It took a long time to find out this anomaly. Big Grin

- Mail Monitor can crash explorer if the user repeats to try to access Mail Monitor properties and gets no result. Three of four times right click and properties and then crash of explorer. Again a new user may do this because they do not know that Mail Monitor is seeking to access a unreachable account and has locked properties.

Thank you.

I can't get Quick Reply to work in this version. Can anyone confirm? See bug report here.

I'd love for the ability to turn off the MD5 digest before sending the password when popping. It works anyway, but my server logs are full with failed login attemps. Since about half of the available e-mail server softwares do not support MD5 digest, could we possibly have this as an optional switch?
