When I first boot up my PC has to hand shake to the internet before it
settles down........Mail monitor runs and checks mail......and gives an error message......because it's checking BEFORE the hand shake takes place.

It would be nice if the user could set a "delay before checking" period to eliminate this error indicator. Since each system is different it would further be nice if the user could set this delay period.

I have long thought this would be a nice feature but never really suggested it, but since you did... It would be nice to be able to configure Mail Monitor to wait a user defined number of seconds before checking for mail when it boots up.
