So I've been searching for the ultimate cb extender app, but didn't find one that suits my needs(in other words is simple enough to access), so I thought why not implement this function into tlb, a simple menu with previous clipboard contents and a click to select which should be placed into the current clipboard contents. That's it!

I wish I knew Visual C++ but I don't, I'm just a beginer at C++, trying to make my first gui programs, so it would be months before I could take a shot at this myself...

Please Yuri, tell me is it possible, I'm sure it would make a great addition to the already great app! Are there any chances that someone would do it?

What apps have you tried?

I use CLCL. It's got some obsure settings that I just ignore but I've bound it to Ctrl+Alt+V and it works fine for me. I've looked into a few other apps but I haven't seen anything that was simpler to use.

Hey thanx, I'll give it a shot, though still a tlb plugin would be grat.

Currently I use Clipmate but the plethora of uneeded functions is frustratiung.. However it's a nice app, I'm not stating otherwise.

Give Clipcache plus a try. Works very well for me.

I'm using Ditto now (was using ClipCache). It's free and has a very cool search engine.

And that's why it's best not done as a tlb plugin. There are people out there already making these tools, and they have the time and motivation to add many features that a tlb plugin might not get. And we mustn't forget that every extra plugin that Yuri develops and has to support takes time away from developing TLB.

I hadn't heard of ditto before but it's search functionality and ability to share clipboards between computers might come in useful in the future. (Although I'm sticking with CLCL because from the screenshot and feature list of ditto I still think CLCL will be quicker for me to use. I forgot to mention that it is also free.)

He's not, there is an sdk and anyone can develop plugins. Although I couldn't name any.

If there's an open source clipboard app you might be able to integrate it with tlb so it lives in the taskbar as a menu, instead of the system tray as they usually do. Thinking about it I can see how that might be useful.
