I'm noticing that the Menu "Text Glow" color (black in my case) appears much smaller on scaled (Hi DPI) menus as compared to unscaled menus.
When using Aero glass, this makes the scaled menu text much harder to read when they pop up over light/white-colored application windows (the black 'Text Glow' normally provides great contrast when unscaled and makes the text easy to read - on scaled windows (200% on my laptop) the glow effect has minimal effect.
