Skin size?

Hello, is the Skin Size setting for plugins (e.g., for System Monitor) something the skin designer needs to implement? I noticed I can change the settings for Pie Multicore, but it does nothing for other skins, like Wi8 CoreTemp Spin Max. Thanks.
