Seperator auto expand on hover

Could it be made possible to auto expand a seperator-content when the mouse-pointer is above a seperator title? (make it a checkable option like "Enabel/Expand collapse" , "Auto collapse").

And maybe auto collapse when the mouse-pointer is outside a toolbar?
