I write this for the benefit of others who might encounter similar problems with TLB Clock installation.
Operating System: Windows 2000
TrueLaunchBar: (registered) version 4.1
TLB Clock: version 1.5
The problem
TLB Clock plugin would not show up in "New" menu, so the clock could not be started.
Solution
1. I tried to register the tlbclock.dll (by double click). The encountered error message said, the module tlbclock.dll could not be found despite correct paths.
2. I downloaded an older version of regsvr32.exe from Microsoft.
My (newer) version: regsvr32.exe, 11.024 bytes, 20.06.2003 13:00:00, ver 5.00.2195.6662
Old version: REGSVR32.EXE, 30.720 bytes, 09.08.1996 00:30:00, ver 4.00.1381
3. I ran the old version trying to register tlbclock.dll
Error message said, gdiplus.dll could not be found. Actually I do have gdiplus.dll, but in .NET environment, which is not set in my PATH variable.
So I copied gdiplus.dll to \system32 - but might be a better idea to include the path to this file into the PATH variable.
4. Retried registering tlbclock.dll. Succeeded.
5. Restart - TLB Clock shows up and could be started.
C'est ça!
