Hi,

I somehow managed to install Start Killer improperly (got no error messages - but -) It does indeed hide the "Start" button, but when I hit the Windows key, or the Ctl-Esc keys, it does *not* pop up the Start menu - instead, it opens a utility menu I set up in the Launch Bar.

In addition, the keys that should let me modify Start Killer's settings do nothing.

Please help!

I've removed the program via the control panel, cleaned the reigstry - which puts the start button back. I re-downloaded StartKiller, reinstalled it - and the same problem occurs. It there an ini file or reg setting I can modify to fix this?

I'm running XP Pro with the very latest MS patches.

Thanks for the help !!

Try to press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+F12 to open the StartKiller options.

If these keys is not working here is registry key with the settings:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\True Software\Start Killer
And two values:
BlockStart - 1 lock the start menu and opens TLB, 1 - CTRL+ESC opens start menu
ShowTrayIcon 1 - show icon 0 hide icon
