Lag when right clicking an uninstalled program from menu

When right clicking an item (that's been uninstalled) there is a pretty long lag.Lets say i right clicked to bring up the option to rename or delete there is a long delay 5 or seconds.Keep in mind this only happens with uninstalled programs.


I'm using XP Pro
and 4.2.2 Beta

FYI: I noticed this as well when I was using XP, I'm now using Vista and this behavoiur has disapperad.

Yes, I know about this problem. Seems like Windows try to resolve the shortcut. But this happens inside the Windows Explorer too Sad The only thing I can recommend - Select shortcut by mouse and press Del to delete it. Is it the faster way to remove non-existing files.
