Clipboard Manager v2.1.1 beta released

What's new in this version:
* The clipboard engine is completely rewritten to make Clipboard Manager more stable and convenient.
* The bugs with double items when start MS Word, or capturing from the IE must be fixed.
* The bug when CM stops the capture on Windows Media Player start must be fixed
* Removed the storage folder option. Now CM saves all data in the folder at the location: %APPDATA%\Tordex\True Launch Bar\Clipboard Manager
* Support PNG and JPEG format when saving snapshots of images
* Added the hotkey "Swap Last": swap the clipboard content to the previously content
* The locked items now not included into the total snapshots count.
* The icons can be any size, depending of the "View" settings
* Added the glass menu support for the Windows Vista

Ok found some bugs with Clipboard Manager v2.1.1 beta.

When running Clipboard Manager v2.1.1 it disables other softwares Clipboard watchers.

Example I use something called RapGet which watches for when I copy download links. But Clipboard Manager v2.1.1 disables it.

Another bug!

If I try to copy the same text 2 times or more in a row sometimes ClipBoard Manager v2.1.1 beta will not copy the text. It seems to happen often.

OK, reproduced. Thank you. Update will come shortly.

This version is designed to ignore the duplicated items. So if you select the text and press CTRL+C twice you get only one record in clipboard manager.

Clipboard Manager v2.1.3 beta released

I've fixed a bug that can cause the plugin crash sometimes. The links to downloads are the same.

There seems to be another bug in Clipboard Manager v2.1.3 beta

I know you made it so Clipboard Manager can not copty the same text 2 times in a row. But I have been testing it a lot and at random times Clipboard Manager still allows me to copy the same text 2,3 and sometimes 4 one right after the other.

So I think this still needs some fixing.

You should make it so there is no way you can ever copy the same text twice or more in a row. Doing that would fix the tripple copy bug for sure.

Actually CM don't add new item if the new clipboard content is the same as old. For example WinWord place the same content into clipboard on start. Also I've found that IE7 copy the clipboard content two times after exit (this happens only if you copy text in IE), also if you press CTRL+C twice CM will add only one item.

Well, the version 2.1.4 beta is ready. The links to downloads are the same.

Changes:
* CM now always check if the new clipboard content logged already, and don't add duplicates in any case. CM just selects the found item.

New problem with version 2.1.4 beta.

Lets say I copy the text "good" then I copy "bad" then when I go to copy "good" again it will not copy a second time.

This is a problem because lets say I have a lot of text copied and "good" is near the top of the list when I try and copy "good" again it wont apear at the bottom of the list.

I would like Clipboard Manager to be able to copy the same text over and over again but "only" when I choose too. I do not want it to copy the same text 2 or 3 times in a row if I choose not too.

Do you understand what I mean? Smile

Maybe you could make it so Clipboard Manager can only copy the same text again after copying a different text first.

This would be the best way I think.

Can you do it this way?

And a BIG thanks for all your help Smile

gate1975mlm,

Why on earth would you want to copy the same text over and over again in to clipboard manager, the whole point of a clipboard manager is that you can easily access text you have previously copied from the list. The way it works at the moment seems fine to me.

I think it is best left alone otherwise we will all end up with a huge list of repeated items if we copy already existing text. I think it is more efficient to only have one copy of the text etc.. in the clipboard manager.

Yuri,

Perhaps you could just have an exisiting item move to the bottom of the list if it is copied again, perhaps this may please gate1975mlm.
