Hi there,

I had a hard drive problem and had to recently restore an earlier backup of my C drive. I had backed up my true launch menu, using the backup feature in True Launch Bar, but it was a very old menu and I'd like to be able to retrieve a more recent version of the toolbar menu. I had made a more recent copy of the actual hard drive folder that contains all the True Launch Bar items (in Program Files/TrueLaunchBar). But I don't know if any of these items actually contain my more recent configuration of the menu items. Is there some way that I can use the files contained in Program Files/TrueLaunchBar to help me get back to my more recent version of my menu items? Or can that only be done by restoring from a tlbackup file.

Thanks for your input on this!

Files from Program Files/TrueLaunchBar are useless for the toolbar restoring. The files you need can be found in the folder %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch.
