Sort order of items of a single folder

I have created several menus and would like to know how to set sort order of display and icon size of only some folders.

For example in the screenshot attached, I want to sort 'My Pictures' to show up the latest content at the top. So when I right click on it and choose 'Arrange Icons By' and tick 'Modified' and 'Descending', nothing happens.

Figured it out. To set the properties of a menu, menu itself shouldn't be right clicked but any item within the menu.
