On a "deep scan", A-Squared found this:

Trojan.Win32.StartPage.bqk

In two files - tlbaddremove.exe and truelaunchbar.exe

This is almost certainly a false positive, but I would like confirmation.

Yes, this is the false positive Sad

There are two free online malware scan services:
Virus Total
virusscan.jotti.org

Both scan the files with a lot of AV software. So you can test that files, to see what other AV say Wink

Where do I start to remove trojan horse blackbird from my computer.?
We have managed to get the trojan horse Blackbird on our computer.Does anyone know how to get this off completely without a complete dump and re-install of the PC?

Try to use the CureIt. They have the excellent LiveCD also. All software are free. I guess it can clear your computer.
