Possible Virtual Desk Top problem

Has anyone else run into this?

In VDT 1 open your brwoser and go to a URL.

Switch to VDT 2 and open email, read and click on a link with in the email.

The browser switchs to VDT 2 and opens the link.

Switch back to VDT 1 and the browser is also there with the link.

This would indicate the same browser is active in 2 VDTs. Is this correct?
