Another Virtual Desk Top problem or enhancement request

If I have 3 windows opened in VD1 with focus on window 3, then switch to VD2 which has a couple of windows opend and select a window and do some work. Then I switch back to VD1 again, the window 3 on that Desk Top does not have my focus. I have to select a window before I can do anything.

Is this a bug?

Another Virtual Desk Top product I use to use would remember which window on a Desk Top had the focus and when you switched between Desk Tops you did not have to click on a window before you could do anything.

If this is not a bug, but by design for this product, can it be added as a feature?
