Virtual Folders -- mouse wheel to scroll menu under cursor

When using virtual folders, the mouse wheel will scroll the right-most menu.

You mentioned in the past that "Popup submenu on mouse hover" will allow you to use the mouse wheel to scroll the menu that's under the cursor, but this works by simply not popping up submenus, which breaks convention with submenus in Windows.

Is there any chance that it could be made to work such that the scroll wheel scrolls the menu that's directly below the cursor? Think of it the same as how the scroll wheel in Outlook scrolls whichever pane (messages, reading, folders) is directly under the cursor -- it scrolls what you're pointing at. Ditto any other "enlightened" application, such as FlashFXP or Firefox. But not FileZilla (scrolls the focused control) ... need to file a bug on that one :P

There are special options for mouse wheel. Try our Tordex Wheel. This utility works exactly you want. Not only in TLB but in all applications. It is free for registered TLB users (use the same key as for TLB).

Interesting. Works in Explorer, check. Works with Winamp's mp3cue plugin, check. Doesn't interfere with Tab Mix Plus in Firefox (mouse wheel over the tab bar to switch tab) ...

Hell, it even fixes the issue where a focused Flash movie on a Web page blocks the scroll wheel in Firefox from operating the tab bar with TMP.

Wow, even works on windows that are not focused, which I've wanted to be able to do for ages.

Any way to hide the tray icon though? It doesn't actually do anything, and I like to keep my system tray very clean!

Scratch what I wrote in this post (I deleted it all). Firefox has issues. Basically if I raise the CPU priority of Tordex Wheel, then it doesn't struggle when Firefox is using > 70% CPU just by itself.

The following convoluted command will start Tordex with raised priority:

There's still lag, but it's a lot more tolerable. Perhaps Firefox 3.5 performs better :)
