TLB slows down periodically

Every now and again TLB pauses when I and dragging an entry into a menu, between a couple of seconds and up to 30Secs, then it operates at normal speed.
Also even rarer the pause occurs when I open a program from a TLB menu
It's more of an annoyance than a problem, just thought it would help before the next final release of TLB
I am using RC2 Ver 4.4.10
Windows 7 Ult
AMD Phemon II 550 & 4gig DDR2

It could be a Win7 thing. I moved to Win7 about 6 weeks ago and before I used XP Pro on the same machine with none of the above problems.

Do you use the aero glass effect for menus?

Please can you try to turn off the glass effect.
