Idea: what if the age of a clip is reset every time a clip is selected?
This way that the order of the list would reflect the order in which the clips have been used rather than the order they have been originally taken.
In other words: last-used clip should go to the top of the list, not last-taken.
This could be an option when I customize the menu: arrange by "capture Time" or "last used time".
Right now only "capture time" is allowed, and an older clip even if active and highlighted by a different icon still remains mixed in and might be difficult to spot in a long list: the position of others used recently as well, but taken in different moments, is difficult to find altogether.

Yes this is a very good idea as an option!!
When you select an older clip it then should be moved to the begining of the list because even though its old its still the last clip you used.
Makes sense to me

Sad to see this problem hasn't been solved with the new version. Last selected clip still shows mixed in the list. I will keep using clipboard recorder for the time being.
nonhocapito, check if the auto-arrange option is turned on for the menu. The last version update the capture time when you select it in the list.

Hi Yuri
Thanks for the new Clipboard!
And you are correct you need to select auto-arrange and Capture Time in the munu
Working great here!
Love the new Capture Time/auto-arrange feature!!!

Sorry but it doesn't work for me.
I had already set the menu to have auto-arrange on, but even so the selected item is not moved to the top or bottom of the list. The info tip does show a new timestamp, but the menu item remains where it was before being selected.
(I am using: Clipboard Manager 4.3, TLB 5.2 x64, Vista SP2 x64)

Yuri,
After using the new Clipboard Manager 4.3 for a few days I now see at random times where when selecting an older clip it does not send that clip to the beining of the list. Again it only seems to happen at random times.
And I do have auto-arrange and capture time on.
Is there anyway you can fix this?
Update!
I have a lot of clips in the list so I did a test and kept selecting different clips.
And it does seem to happen now often. Still not everytime but it is happening a lot. Maybe every 5 or so trys. Sometimes even less.
Hope this can be fixed.
Thank you. I'll try to find and to fix the bug.
One question: What is the sate of the option "close menu on clip selected"?

I have a "check mark" next to "close menu on clip selected"
Update!
Removing the "Chech Mark" next too "close menu on clip selected" seems to have fixed the issue.
Now it seems that everytime I select an older clip it does move to the begining of the list .
Is there anyway you can fix it so you can still use "close menu on clip selected" without breaking auto-arrange and Capture Time feature?

Sorry, "Close menu on clip selected" makes no difference either way for me.
So far, the menu never re-arranged itself: not once, not even clicking on "refresh".

I would try uninstalling the Clipboard Manager then restart your computer and then reinstall the Clipboard Manager again.

OK. I hate to be that guy, but...
Installed TLB 5.3
Retried the Clipboard Manager
Selected Auto Arrange by Capture Time
Menu items STILL DO NOT re-arrange when selected.
Tooltips do indicate a different capture time, but it does not influence their position in the menu.
Behavior identical as with 5.2.
~ Vista SP2 x64 "Windows Standard" theme.
p.s. I also noticed that the green emblem on the active item disappears from the menu if I "refresh" the toolbar.
