Media Plugin with Winamp and artwork
Hello,
how can I use the artwork in the media-plugin (for example: the artwork-skin) with winamp. I use my mp3-files with the cover-tag and it works fine with the windows media player, but I won't use the media player. What is the solution? Thank you. |

Re: Media Plugin with Winamp and artwork
Winamp supports the artworks. To use the Media Control with the winamp, install the winamp support file, and select the universal player in the Media Control plugin.

Re: Media Plugin with Winamp and artwork
Hello,
thank you for the fast answer. I've installed the mc-winamp.exe and I use the universal-player but no artwork (cover). It doesn't work on two machines (vista 32 and windows 7 64). Winamp is version 5.621. |

Re: Media Plugin with Winamp and artwork
Hmm... I've checked this. Winamp don't have an API to featch the artwork
so MC plugin fetch the album art from the folder's file "album.jpg" or "folder.jpg". I'll try to find the way to get artwork from the MP3 files.

Re: Media Plugin with Winamp and artwork
Thank you,
I tested it with folder.jpg and album.jpg and it works with folder.jpg. But that it isn't what I want. The Windows Media Player don't need the folder.jpg for work. So I in hope you find a solution. |

RE: Media Plugin with Winamp and artwork
Hello,
at this time I test the CD Art Display 3.0 beta. It works with winamp and the covertag. It works fine but my favorite is truelaunchbar. It seems winamp has an api to show covertags. |
