Menu items are centered - I want left justified

Somehow all my menu items have become centered in the menus with the large icons also centered above the text. I used to have it with the large icon justified to the left with the text immediately to its right. I've tried every setting I can find but can't fix this!

Right-click in the menu and select View->Default

You can change the same option (view mode) in Customize (sub)menu.
