I have not noticed this on earlier versions. Using 6.3.

I tried taking a screen shot of the glitch, but it did not show in the video.

I have a tall, three column folder/grouyb on my bar. When I extend the contents by pressing the button, the three columns blink black for a split second. If I keep raising ond lowering the columns, it happens every other raise. I have enabled the animate close 1st level menu. If I disable it, the blink happens every time.

I think i have the same issue: When hovering with the mouse over symbol that opens menu (Desktop for example), the menu opens and then is flickering. it does not happen in the submenu. I tried to turn off menu shadow, but does not change the behavior. This effekt wasn't in Version 6.2

Win 7 SP1 32 Bit german , TLB 6.4 (German Lang)

Yuri the menus still flash for me. Sad Is there any type of troubleshooting that you would like us to do?

Also please can you answer on one question: do you use the transparency effect for the menu? Are there flashes if you enable transparency (glass or simple)?

Thank you for testing. I've found some additional conditions for flashing. Please test this fixed version.

If the flashes are still there, please tell me what are the transparency settings of your menus (simple transparency, glass or opaque). Animation is depending of the menu transparency.

I just tried the latest version Yuri, and it is also a no go for me. My menus have both "Use Glass Effect" and "Fully Transparent" enabled. If I disable "Use Glass Effect" or if I set the transparency down to opaque then the problem goes away. The problem also seems to go away when I disable Menu Animations.

I'm sending you a copy of my menu backup as requested. Let me know if there is anything else that I can provide.

Flickering still exists with 6.4.0.2

Any news about that?

It also still exists with 6.4.0.3 Sad

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with our graphics cards? I'm using an old Nvidia GTX285, what are you using?

I have GTX 650Ti with NVidia GeForce 314.07 Driver

Edit:
BTW why must i always reboot when updatin TLB? Isn't it possible to just restart explorer? (My PC needs 15 Minutes for reboot ;( )
PS: I think the NVidia GFX is one of the most common ones. It should be fixed. And with previous 6.3 version it was not flickering
