Can someone tell me WHERE in the world I can get active desktop? I can't uninstall my IE 6 completely, because that's what's installed, and it won't let me remove it. Also, IE4 won't install over IE6. Can anyone help me?

One of the TLB users give the alorithm to install Active Desktop without uninstalling previos version of IE. But this operation is very dangerous. I do not want publish it for every body. But if you feel yourself ready for risk write me and I send information to you by email.

I think on http://www.microsoft.com/ie/ Wink

BTW If you already have IE5 then you can install Active Desktop using command:
IE5Setup.exe /c:"ie5wzd /e:IE4Shell_NTx86 /I:y"

Note: you must have full distribute of IE 5 (you can find it on http://www.microsoft.com/ie/). Be sure that file IE4SHLNT.CAB in this package.

I'm not sure that this method will work with IE6 but if there are IE4SHLNT.CAB file then you can try with IE6 too (only replace IE5Setup->IE6Setup ie5wzd->ie6wzd)
