Hey all,
I'm trying out TrueLaunchBar, and so far I really like what I see. Anyways, I just had a great suggestion which I think represents a majority of the truelaunchbar users. I have my recycle bin shortcut icon inside TLB (TrueLaunchBar), but there's no way (short of clicking the button) to tell if there's any items inside it. Is there any way to set it to another icon once there's items inside the recycle bin? Also, allowing us to set the "full recycle bin icon" would be great. Big Grin

Thanks.

The recycle bin should act like the one on your desktop, if you want to change any of it's preoperties (full icon etc. use the Display Properties>Desktop>Customise Desktop>etc.)

It's the refresh rate that could be the problem. How did u create your shortcut? Did u drag it on to the TLB from your desktop, or create it manually?
...it maekesh me do a shecks wee...

Heyyas,
Thanks for the response. Basically this is what's going on.

I dragged the trash icon directly into TrueLaunchBar. I set the icons in Properties/Customize Desktop to whatever.

When I drag and drag an item into TLB (TRueLaunchBar) Trash icon, it presents the correct icon; however, when I empty the trash, it doesn't show the correct icon. The trash is empty, but it shows that the trash is full. Right click->refresh corrects the problem. Any advice?

Side note: my recycle bin is not on my desktop anymore. I removed it with Microsoft TweakUI (latest version)

I've tried to duplicate this, but everything works fine for me. We'll need some of your system details to be able to look further into this. Specifically, what are your OS and TLB versions?

The described problem occurs in my configuration too. XP SP1 or SP2 doesn't change a thing.
Kind regards,

Excellent! What can we do at this point?
