CD Control - Bug in CD Control

I installed CD Control for my two drivers (DVD and CDRW). Whe i try yo burn a CD with Nero the buffer osciles from 8% to 80% constantly and the burning is delayed for 30 minutes!!!!!
Without plugin the buffer is up to 95-98% and the burning is 3 minutes or less.

Win XP Pro with SP1 + All patches
Nero 5.5.9.22 OEM

I have related problem with this plugin, it causes the cd drive to spin regulary. it's not good for the cd drive as I keep my PC ALWAYS ON. When it keeps heating up the drive without a reson I don't use it.

yer i had the same prob, with a 52x burner, after install, i wasnt sure what it was actually, my drive speed went way down, taking upto 40 minutes to burn a cd! instead of the usual 3, it is a great idea for a plugin and i would love to use it, so if you could fix it, that would be great
