There's something really weird going on here, take a look at the screenshot video. It's too big for the forum but I've emailed it as a separate attachment. I've even created a new user account and it exhibits exactly the same feature!
I hear what you say about software conflict but I don't run any software on this machine different to what I run on another machine where TLB runs fine.
Quick Launch seems to work fine, I have icons for IE7, Show Desktop, Windows Media Player 11 and Snagit, all work as intended.
I guess I'm going to have to try a repair install of XP?
