Auto remove ".exe" from links - How about a preference to auto remove the".exe" from links

Hi,


How about a preference that automatically removes ".exe" from all link names?

I am constantly going into:

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Menu

and renaming things like "ConTEXT.exe.lnk" to "ConTEXT.lnk"

This would be a nice timesaver for me.
