I spend a lot of time fighting with media control plugin (I have foobar), configuring it so and so while there was and option
"hide when player not loaded" tuned on. It was a mess!..
As far as plugin don't want to find my foobar, it was ALWAYS
HIDDEN. Show hidden don't help (I think you know Smile).
So my idea is to clariy "HIDE" state.
1) Hidden state is a attribute of plugin and changes only if
"hide" check box are marked or unmarked (yes, it should look
like a trigger) or automaticaly like "hide when player not loaded".
2) "Show hidden" option should only show ALL of them
(even hidden) but DON'T CHANGE state. This is a trigger too.

It helps when there is no app the plugin depends on and you
need to configure it (plugin). Just "show hidden" & rightclick...

BTW, in this case netstat plugin may have an option
like media control have - "hide when there are no any active
connections". It will be helpful for dialup users (for example) -
80% work time modem is offline - no need to view netstat
plugin icon (3 blue monitors).

Thanks, hope I was helpful.
