Anyone using a RAM defrag / cleanup program? I'm interested in dropping one on my TLB. I'd prefer just a one click solution: Put a shortcut on the toolbar, click the shortcut, and off it goes... Maybe it is an idea for a plugin... Just thought I would ask. Thanks!

The process viewer already has an 'optimize memory' option in the right-click popupmenu. Although it's not entirely clear what it really does, it seems to free RAM by swapping memory to disk.

We are using Cacheman as a RAM optimiser. Windows 98SE needs all the help it can get to manage the memory and we think this program is better than others for doing so. It resides in the System Tray and is automatic in its settings. Try it and if you desire an XP version they have one as well.

Best wishes
