I use several TLB Internet shortcuts to open various streaming radio broadcasts from the Internet. Please would it be possible to include a 'run minimized' check box in the hot key setup window in a future release?

This feature already released by Windows. Open the properties of shortcut and set the option "Run".

I think you will find that the 'Run' option is only available to standard shortcuts NOT Internet shortcuts. That is definitely the case on my PC and Laptop (both running XP Home).

OK, a solution:

Create a shortcut that passes the URL of the radio station you want, to your browser. For example, I want to listen to Virgin FM, so I make my shortcut command line look like this:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.smgradio.com/core/player/index.html?service=vr

Now it's a shortcut, you can use the minimize features that a shortcut offers... Big Grin

Thanks for the tip - that works, but...... unfortunately although I have set the shortcut to run minimized it always runs in a normal window. Does that happen with your smgradio.com shortcut?

No, the shortcut always runs minimized here! Can you give any further information about your setup so we can help further?

I've made a shortcut to Virgin Radio using your command line and selected to run minimized and it works perfectly. Can you please do the same with my Radio 2 command line, select to run minimized and let me know what happens?

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio2.shtml

I am using Windows Media Player 9 on 600k Broadband.

I've tried the shortcut you gave me, and I can confirm that it minimises here. My system specification is in my signature. Could you provide us with your version of Windows and TLB. Also, it would be helpful if you could tell us what browser you're using...
Back once again...
