I'd like to be able to set different maximum connection speeds for my upload and downloads. I have cable interenet were my download speed is much more than my upload, and so even if I'm downloading at full speed I still get a very small bar. I would like both bars to be maxed if I'm using all my bandwidth in both directions.

I agree, this is a great idea.

In order to get around this limitation in the past, I have created two seperate but complimentary skins, one for upstream and one for downstream, so that I could have two instances of NetMonitor running with independant bandwidth settings

I could modify your favorite skin in this manner if you'd like, LastToKnow0. The only caveat is that the bars must be horizontally adjacent, not one on top of the other.

It is a nice idea, as shapeshifter has said, I have gotten around this by using 2 skins.
