greetings!

I am looking for mail watch to be an email - triggered robot. I could email a command like 'runmaint.bat' to the mailbox it monitors and it would execute this batch file, and send me a reply that it had received the message and was at work.

can mail watch do this?

Thank you!

Not sure what "mail watch" you're referring to, but Mail Monitor just checks whether you have any new mail messages.

Executing commands from e-mail messages is a silly idea. This would open doors for viruses =; You'd better write this 'robot' yourself, I even believe Outlook does a good job in executing scripts from e-mail messages...

Using filters you can run any command. Also MM can save some messages. So you can build something like robot. All these you can find in the filters.
