The problem i have with menu drawing is worsening but at least i think i have found something interesting.

Apparently it happens only when you run a link/menu with a hotkey and NOT when you just click on it.

Another possibility is this: How much RAM do you have and how much is being used? Also does your display card have on-board RAM or does it use system RAM? Perhaps you are using so much memory your system has insufficient memory left to properly display certain things.

You can try to close all unnecessary programmes and then hopefully you will have freed some memory to try and see if you are still getting this problem.

Tried that too

I have 512mb of DDR RAM with half of it free 90% of the time.

My mobility Radeon 9000 has it's own dedicated 64mb of DDR RAM and it doesn't share RAM with the system.

What i found interesting is that this doesn't happen when i click on menus but only when i invoke them via hotkey.

Unbeliever, what do you use to change XP Theme? Is this WindowBlinds, StyleXP or XP Visual Style? Is this possible to download this theme?

I use this program to patch uxtheme.dll and i use the theme "Tiger" supplied with it.

It also completly changes your PCs appereance to look like Mac OS X

Sorry for bumping but i can definatly confirm that the bug i'm having happens ONLY when i use hotkeys and NOT when i click on the menu.

I tested this many times and always got the same result. If it was a RAM issue (which i'm sure it's not) it would happen all the time, not just when using hotkeys.
