Functionality Stopped

The icons on my taskbar turned into generic icons and the properties say they are plugis. They show cystem files in a folder but there is no functionality. I reloaded the program and updated it, but there is no change. Is there a way to repair the program without starting over again. I can't imagine what broke it.

It sounds like the default QuickLaunch is showing, which doesnt know how to handle the .tlbplugin files. Right-click your taskbar, go to the toolbars submenu, and make sure there is a checkmark in front of "True Launch Bar".
