Port Monitor v1.0 released.



Port Monitor plugin creates menu with the list of all TCP/UDP connections. You can see some information about any connection.

How does this work? Had it installed and have it on my launch bar already, but it is empty. Do I need to reboot for it to work?

And in case it is not already implemented- displaying full file path for process that has opened the connection in tooltip would be nice (this enables fast checking if fe. services.exe that opened a connection is the legitimate one, not dropped by some malware to untypical directory).

Wonderful idea! Looks really nice

I had some problems when selecting "Arrange Icons by -> Protocol", because explorer.exe stopped responding every time I tried that.
But somehow after restarting explorer several times, it is now sorted how I wanted and I can even change it without freeze.

Perhaps another nice option would be to make TCP and UDP like subfolders in the Port Monitor menu, so you can quickly view the TCP connections only. And while I type this I realize you could as well put 2 Port Monitors inside a menu, each showing only one protocol.

Nice plugin, but I think it would be nicer if you somehow compact the text information, perhaps to show each process in its own line ? Something like this:

for TCP:
[Trillian | C:\Program Files\Trillian\Trillian.exe] 127.0.0.1:4024 <-> 64.12.24.142:5190 [TCP]
for UDP:
[Trojan | C:\Windows\tr.exe] 127.0.0.1:4455 [UDP]
