Hello again. I have been a long time user of TLB and have recently tried to use the weather monitor plugin, but the icon is not displaying the information correctly. I want to use Wunderground for the weather as I have my own weather station on wunderground that I would like to see. Can anyone provide some help in fixing the issues with it. I am looking at the ini file but not 100% sure how to mod it to make it work. :roll:

Thanks for your help,
Larry

Surely, this is one of the URLs I am using, <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=21030">http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... uery=21030</a><!-- m -->,
Hopefully someone can help me and then I can learn it myself, as well.

All the sites seem to show is the pressure and humidity on the bar and when I hold my mouse over it it shows pressure, humidity, dewpoint, sunrise is the word NEW, sunset is 81.9, wind seems fine except there is a fair amount of html code that is not supposed to be shown, visibility seems fine.

Thanks for your help,
Larry

Weather providers change their website coding without notice. Yours has changed. Use this file in your Providers folder instead of the one that came with the plugin. Let us know how it goes.

Works great!!!

is there anything you can tell me that will help me figure it out in the future? because they do change the site so often. I made a VB application that actually parsed this as well a while back, but not sure how the ini file actually works here.

Thanks again for your help!!,

The original wunderground.ini file was opened in an editor (Notepad++) as well as the web page in a View Page mode. The actual necessary codes were compared with the codes in the original wunderground.ini and it was found that modifications were necessary. You can obtain some additional information here - <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.truelaunchbar.com/plugins/weathermon/index.php#provider">http://www.truelaunchbar.com/plugins/we ... p#provider</a><!-- m -->

If you require further assistance please do not hesitate to ask.
