How does Truelaunch read a folder?

I have set up a standalone bar to read my recent documents folder. I can't figure out how it arranges them on the bar. It doesn't seem to be alphabetical or when the recent link was created. So what is it?? I'd like it to be alphabetical most of the time and sometimes by date in reverse order. Can I do that?

Right-click in menu and select the "Arrange Icons By" submenu. Here you can setup the auto arranging.

Now that sounds easy enough! I wish I'd seen that.
