My "recently accessed" menu no longer collects recently accessed items. Nothing I access from a TLB menu gets added to the "recently accessed" menu.

I tried adding a second "recently accessed" menu. It also did not work.

I first noticed the problem using TLB 4.2.5. I updated to TLB 4.3 and the problem still exists.

The system is an XP SP3+ system.

Ideas?

TLB don't allow to create the second "recently accessed"...

Can you send me the backup of your toolbar? I'll try to found the problem.

Yep...I read the "no second recently accessed" after I posted.

Anyway...I found the problem. Somehow the "tlbdata.xml" disappeared from the recently accessed folder. I deleted the menu item and folder and recreated the menu item and everything is fine.

Thx for the assistance.

It is now 2011 and my 'recently accessed' plugin is frozen, showing no recent files. Tried several times to Refresh it. Deleted it now.

Do I just re-install it?

[few minutes later]
I see from recently accessed => properties that it points to: Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch and I don't use IE. I need it to show me what files I've accessed.

Does "recently accessed" refer to places accessed via a browser?

The recently accessed menu collect the shortcuts you clicked on TLB only.

This is the standard folder where Quick Launch and True Launch Bar store the shortcuts. This is not related to the Internet Explorer.
