Version 4.2

Is there a way I can get version 4.2? I had it and upgraded to 4.3. Now any time I try to add a program to it , i lose all my separators and even seen where I lose all the short cuts. I have had to restore from a backup to many times. :cry:

Please can you tell me how you add the program and where you lost the separators? Is this menu or toolbar. If menu, is this is the virtual folder or normal menu?

Thanks Yuri . I dragged and dropped shortcuts from my desktop. I have separators in it to keep programs in order. When I drop the shortcut in TLB it crash and don't see nothing but separators on the bottom. And sometimes after dropping the shortcut it will move the folders and short cuts in a different order then I had and about 3 inches of separators. When I restore it, it is fine until I try to add another folder or shortcut. And if I right click on shortcut and select delete shortcut it will freeze TLB, then I have to re boot to get it back.

Been dreading going back to an older version. Lost all my plugins and settings, registration. But now that I have 4.2 back I have no troubles. Anyone else have this problem with v4.3?

dwax, please can you post here the screenshot of your toolbar with the separators?

OK here is part of it. It would take a while to get all of it. With version 4.3 all the blue separators would disappear when I would add or delete a shortcut.

Thank you very much for the screenshot. Now I can to reproduce the bug. The bug is related to the menu with two arrows. This menu contain the toolbar buttons when there are no room on toolbar.

So the temporary solution: create the menu and place all items from the menu with two arrows into the created menu.

You mean I can not have the folder with the arrow? That has more short cuts in it. I made that to keep TLB from having allot of short cuts Same with the other one. I have about 5 right now with version 4.2.

I recommend to avoid this menu. There are no problems with the normal menus, but the menu with two arrows is generate the problems. Version 4.2 have some problems with this menu too, but not so critical as I see now.

Can you fix the problem, or maybe add it as a request? I like to organize my programs like that. Like having weather programs in one. I have about 15 or 20 short cuts in that menu. And have another menu for Earth Quake programs that have 8 short cuts. Why dose this type cause the problem? :cry:

Yes, this bug will be fixed in the next version. Currently I'm working on this problem.

Finally yes But there a small note:

If you are using the menu with two arrows (the rest menu) where TLB store the buttons when there are no room on the toolbar, this is note is for you. TLB can lost the layout of the rest menu after updating. So the positions of the icons can be changed and maybe some separators can be lost.

I guess that after updating from the version 4.2 you'll nothing lost (it is even better then updating from the version 4.3).

No, menu with arrows will be with you. The items in this menu can be resorted. But if you updating from v4.2 you don't get the resorting most likely.
