Hi,

I managed to start up weather monitor, it shows correct icon and temerature. However the background is weird in all of the default skins, also in the one I'm working on. The preview in the properties dialog box looks fine:

What you see in the picture is that I tried to create a real background in png format instead of the transparent png, the preview renders it well, while on the taskbar it shows the wallpaper below the taskbar, in the size of the background.png as if a window was cut into the taskbar.

What do I do wrong?

Weather Monitor is currently unsupported. I guess I can to update it to support the aero glass, but some later. I recommend to use the Weather Forecast plugin.

Aah, I see, so I picked the worng plugin. I'll try the other one then.
BTW what's the difference between LAN and IE connection mode? Does the OE setting read the proxy as well? I could connect with this plugin, but couldn't get the mail monitor fetch my gmail account, I guess my problem is with the connection, not with the account/server part.

LAN is the dirrect connection without any proxy. IE - take the proxy settings from the Internet Explorer.
