Hello.
I've just updated RSS plugin to version 3.4 via components manager.
And new version of RSS does not download headers. Uninstalling/installing did nothing.

Can anybody upload version 3.2 somewhere or send it to denis.chernick[at]gmail.com ?

This bug observated once before when I updated Weather Forecast to version 4.

Windows XP Pro SP3, ESET NOD32 4.0

Thanks a lot!

All the channels, even pre-installed in RSS 3.4.
I think that antivirus blocks some changes in libraries.

Do you use the proxy? Maybe the firewall block the internet access from the explorer?

I'd like to chime in on this.

Not sure if my issue is the same but just yesterday I had this same issue with News Reader 3.4.

All of a sudden all of my RSS feeds were not updating at all. And the quick fix for it was to drag the New Reader plugin off the windows taskbar which by the way also made windows explorer crash Sad and then I dragged it back to the windows taskbar and then all my rss feeds started updating again.

I have no idea why they stopped working in the first place. I have never had this happen before with builds prior to 3.4.

Also I am using Windows Internet Settings for my Internet connection.

There must be a small bug somewhere in the latest build.

I just wanted to make a quick post!

At this very moment my News Reader is once again frozen. And is not downloading anything.

I will leave it like this for the time being in case you need me to send you some info or something.

Try to manually update all channels (right-click the button and select Update All Channels). Is this working?

No that does not work. Its like it's stuck or something

If you look at the screenshot wherte it says "Movie Releases and More" you can see the little green arrow and its stuck that way.

Now if I were to add a second News Reader the new one works while the first one is still stuck.

And like I said before if I were to just drag it off the taskbar and then move it back it would start working again I think. However thet may also crash Windows Explorer like it did the last time this happend.

Please can you send me your .tlbplugin file? Maybe this is something related to one of the channel?
