Please can you install this version? I've updated the libcurl module. Maybe this will help.

Ok I installed News Reader 3.4.1

I will report back if and when it freezes again.

Just wanted to let you know that I have not had any freezing or crashing since installing News Reader 3.4.1

So I think you have fixed it.
