Did you know that you can use the news reader plugin to show your mail message?

Just add a new channel with the URL as <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="https://mail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom">https://mail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom</a><!-- m -->
Type your gmail username and password in the Login and Password fields.

That's it!
