Honestly, Yuri, Microsoft should have paid you several Millions and saved itself and us the ordeal of Metro versus Desktop and the ordeal of the missing Start Orb for desktop/workstation Windows users.
As ever, TLB is brilliant deployed on 8's desktop Taskbar. Set aside the entirely different game of a slate/tablet or Windows 8 phone, I simply can't see that the Metro Start screen holds a candle to the ultimate efficiency and ease-of-use of your utility.
All good wishes!
P.S. Pic shows my TLB on left, vertically arrayed Taskbar set to auto-hide; menus hold every Windows control, 3rd party utility, and minor app — daily stuff is between the dividers; shutdown shortcuts [in this position since TLB on Vista!] haven been pinned to Metro's Start Screen.
