My menus have disappeared

Since this morning my menus do not appear. When I click on the launcher icon it is the Windows Explorer window that appears on the screen with all my folders and sub-folders that I created earlier.
Can anyone tell me how to remedy this situation?

Please check if this the True Launch Bar is opened on the taskbar. Right-click any icon on toolbar to view TLB menu. TLB looks like the standard quick launch toolbar but menus works as you described on quick launch toolbar.

If you don't see the TLB context menu on right-click, close standard toolbar and open TLB again. Let me know if your TLB disappear after restart again.
